API Developer

THOUGHTi, Inc. www.thoughti.com is currently seeking a full-time API Developer with MERN(Mongo, Express, React & Node). This is a W2 Contract position.

W2 only, no Corp-to-Corp, US Citizens and Greencard Holders only

Project Location. Sacramento CA, on-site

Duration 12 months + , Contract for Hire

Employment Type Full-time

MOI Telephonic followed by Face-to-Face

Need consultants from Sacramento(CA) or willing to relocate to Sacramento CA

ABOUT THE POSITION

You will work with our internal team and customer contact to understand application requirement, develop APIs, gather feedback and work with the broader Product Engineering team to identify and solve critical customer challenges.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, execute and manage requirements and product features
  • Lead a developer team to deliver a digital service and full fledged web app using agile methodology
  • Be the voice of the customer and understand customer needs
  • Assist in launch and enhance products continuously
  • Work closely with the Product Managers to drive towards the product vision and goals
  • Collaborate internally with Engineering, QA, PMO teams

About you:

  • 4 to 5 years of experience
  • Experience in Developing RESTFUL API
  • API Integration with SAAS solution
  • Work experience in API Gateway Setup
  • Experience on JAVA, JSON, HTML and BOOTSTRAP/CSS
  • You have experience to build frontend using HTML5, CSS, Bootstrap, JavaScript
  • You have strong analytical and technical skills
  • You have excellent collaboration skills and project management skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field

Bonus points:

  • Experience with Web security frameworks (e.g. OAuth 2, JWT, OWASP)
  • Experience with Serverless deployments
  • Demonstrated experience in a highly collaborative environment
